The following is designed to be a parenting course dealing with universal issues regarding the raising and sustenance of our children. However, it is categorically NOT intended to be a vehicle for the discussion of contemporary concerns such as MRSA, West Nile, or whether or not to get the flu vaccine for your toddler this winter. Not that I don’t enjoy discussing questions such as these, because I do, and I do so on a daily basis in my office. But that is not the focus of Real Pediatrics.

Your comments are not only welcomed but encouraged. I am passionate about nearly everything involving the world of pediatrics. I have many concepts to convey and opinions to offer on a wide variety of subjects related to children, but I want to hear from you. What are your interests, which are your needs, and where could you use a bit of advice or instruction?
